Not really impressed After reding all those 5 stars review on the real version thought that this game would be something But appreanltly not

Tried this out and I found hooking rings was very touch and go on account of my plush finger pads. I really dont see what all the fuss is about.

Good game, hes in Minigore but I will buy it only at 0.99$.

Try it for free. You cant go wrong. If you like it, you can buy it for about the price of a cup of coffee and support a great indie game developer.

This app is amazing. It says its the lite version but it seems to me like a full version. Anyway GET IT because its fun as heck. Very actiony. It gets  Two thumbs up from me. It gets a . out of . But most of all, it gets  5 stars Get this app on your  today

this game is sick! i love the intro song and i really think that the developers should put other chip tune songs in each level in the next update. this game is a lot of fun for any type of gamer, wheather youre a casual gamer or more of the hardcore type. this app has a great NES type feel. the hook mechanic is a lot of fun once you get used to it. in each level you steal an ancient artifact and you get chased down by a ghost-type ghoul. with that being said, you can swing around and collect coins on your way to the end of each cave...these coins come in handy at the end of each level as you can visit the local shop and purchase upgrades to your hook and rope as well as various other types of upgrades, such as a shotgun, faster running shoes, tons of cool hats, etc. the game has a pretty great sense of humor and never takes itself too seriously. all in all, this game is very fun. i would recommend it to anyone looking to have a fun time for 10 minutes or even a couple of hours! im definitely going to purchase the full version. check it out! ---Silenthillvictim

I like the game but for 3 dollars its not worth it. Please make the full version 99 cents again.. Then it would be an instant buy at that price!

Thank god... These devs were smart and cool enough to make a free version that isnt riddled with ads or that you have to sign up for do stupid 3rd party BS. Game is great too and will definately buy the full version. Good honest devs with good honest games need to be rewarded. 5 stars, buy their game.

8 levels of swinging platform nes old school action. Definately keeping this lite version. Awesomely fun.

Maybe Im missing the point, but the graphics are a little dated. Gameplay isnt fun at all..

At first, I wasnt sure about this game, but after you get the hang of it, its a blast. May not be for everyone, but if you fondly remember those 8-bit classics with addicting gameplay, you should at least try this lite version out.

This is old-school puzzle-action gameplay, adorable (and super-fast!) pixel art, and more hats than Bartholemew Cubbins ever dreamed of. Swinging madly through a cave, armed with your trusty grapple, you are trying to stay one step ahead of the manifest curse of...whichever idol you happen to have just stolen from its eternal resting place, and believe me, there are a lot of idols sitting around. Its maddening fun, and hands down the best and most entertaining platformer Ive seen on this platform yet. Liked Canabalt but thought it was too repetetive? No such problems here. Youre escaping-to-the-right, yes, but you go up, down, sideways, over lava and through crumbling walls - and you have your trusty rocket boots, shotgun, and...bat musk? Yes, bat musk, because the bats explode when you touch them, propelling you a bit higher and faster, and bat musk attracts them closer to you faster. In short: Dont download this if youre looking for 3-d graphics, a first-person perspective, voiceovers, a serious plot beyond the typical Raiders of the Lost Macguffin fare, or a really boring, repetetive, badly-put-together game with no fun factor and no depth. If youre still reading, what are you waiting for? Download Hook Champ RIGHT NOW and get swingin! ...no, Im not one of the developers, and no, Im not getting a kickback. I paid three bucks for this and with another four levels Id have gladly paid ten.
